After the trip to Hanzhong we went to Xian to finish the long weekend. We finally got front seats in the bus so I was finally able to take some pictures of the road, the trucks and the signs which I have wanted to do.
First is the sign to show how far we go.

The following are the signs which have so nicely been translated into English. We find them quite funny.

Now the trucks in China are a little different. I have yet to see a semi-truck like those in America. They all have open tops and use sheets to hold the cargo in.
You see a lot of these pick-up type trucks hauling things.
This is the sign to our town. The red ibis is the only real thing of note in our town.
